Shane's Birthday!

Happy Birthday to my hubby who just turned 30 on Friday!!! He is officially not in his 20s anymore, hehe. Anyway, him and I had a great time for his bday...We pretty much spent the whole day together. We started off the day with a trip to the mall. We both sat in Barnes and Noble and drank coffee and gossiped about the People magazine that we were both reading together. It was so nice to just focus on eachother and not have any other distractions. Then we went to the Half-Priced Bookstore (we love to read) and picked up a few books there because they are SO much cheaper. We grabbed some lunch together and headed home so we could take the dogs on a walk. After the kids came home, we got ready for dinner....I had asked Autumn earlier in the week if she would watch our kiddos while we went out to dinner. She is so awesome and of course said yes, so we went out to the Cheesecake Factory and used a gift certificate that we got from Shane's mom, so it didnt cost us anything to eat. The food was actually pretty good....better than the last time we went and we came home with 4 boxes of leftover food.....it definitely fed us for the next day too. Then we went to Target and got a few items that we needed in the house....came home.....and got a good night's sleep. All in all, we had a great day together, and really appreciate our friends who helped to make this day a special and memorable one.
